Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is looking for an experienced Yard Worker for one of our clients in Farmingville, NY. This would be for a masonry and concrete supply company.
We are looking for an experienced Yard Worker with a background in masonry supply and forklift operation.
Pay: $21-23/hr DOE
Schedule: varies, store hours are Mon-Fri 7am-4:30pm, Sat 7am-1pm. Must be available weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload masonry and hardscape materials
- Handle and organize materials such as pavers, bricks, and blocks
- Assist customers with order pickups and ensure accuracy in deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized yard
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Requirements
- Forklift experience is required
- Must have familiarity with masonry and hardscape materials
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience cutting bluestone is a plus, but not required
