United Staffing Solutions is representing a shipping container storage facility in Newark, NJ who is looking for Yard Coordinators/Jockey Truck Drivers to join their team.

As a Yard Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the security, organization, and safety of our container storage yard. Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, you will utilize company-owned equipment to ensure the smooth flow of operations. This dynamic position may also involve additional responsibilities such as snow removal, sweeping, pothole repair, painting, and weed cutting.

Pay: $17-19/hr Depending on experience

Schedule: Full Time, overnight shift, 10pm-6:30am, weekends are needed.

Responsibilities:

• Keep the yard neat, organized, and safe at all times.
• Enforce rules and regulations for drivers, vendors, and yard visitors.
• Assist and direct drivers during equipment pickups and drop-offs.
• Lift and relocate improperly parked equipment.
• Process security gate transactions.
• Conduct security checks and inventory counts.
• Complete special projects, including yard maintenance, as required.
• Remain cross-trained in various areas of 635’s operation.
• Assist in implementing Emergency Procedure processes per Assistant Operations Manager’s instructions.

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential.
• Minimum 1 year of Forklift experience, certification highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving history.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work overtime, including off-hours "call-ins" and some holidays.
