Pay: $58-$62/hr DOE

Shift: 12 pm-8 pm, some weekends included

Responsibilities of the X-ray Technician:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and mammograms, as directed by physicians
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic requirements
• Maintain patient records and document procedures performed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic evaluations

• 2 + years of experience required
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum Licensing Requirements: New York State License (L.R.T), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified)
