Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Porter to join our team at a leading restaurant and kitchen supply company in Lodi, NJ. This role will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our warehouse, with a focus on general cleanup and trash removal.
This position requires the ability to complete a Powered Industrial Vehicle Certification on the job site. Warehouse Porters would be using electric pallet jacks as needed.
Schedule:
Day Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm plus OT as needed
Night Shift: Mon-Fri 4pm-12:30am plust OT as needed
Pay: $16-17.50/hr depending on shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleanup tasks in the warehouse
- Use electric pallet jacks to move large trash and boxes.
- Perform sweeping, cleaning, and general maintenance duties as needed.
- Remove trash and ensure the warehouse remains organized and safe
- Maintain cleanliness throughout warehouse
- Support other warehouse functions and business needs, including loading and unloading containers, shrink wrapping outgoing pallets, etc.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to complete Power Industrial Vehicle certification.
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack properly and safely.
- Ability to bend, push, and consistently lift 50+ lbs throughout the day.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to safely operate a manual pallet jack.
- Ability to efficiently function in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends when necessary.
