Vocational Specialist
United Staffing Solutions is seeking a Vocational Specialist to support a pilot program helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) prepare for careers in peer and direct support services. Responsibilities include participant support, training assistance, outreach, internship coordination, and documentation.
Pay: $23-$28/hr, depending on experience
Schedule:
28–32 hours per week based on program needs. Typical 32-hour schedule:
- Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED required; some college preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals with IDD
- Vocational experience preferred
- Customer service or outreach experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
- Ability to travel throughout NYC boroughs
