Utility Stock Receiver – Food Service

Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $21/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Lunch: 30-Minute Break
Assignment: Temporary | Minimum 4 Weeks with Potential Extension

We are seeking a reliable and organized Utility Stock Receiver for an immediate full-time temporary opportunity in Houston, TX. This position supports food service operations by receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory, organizing storage areas, and assisting culinary and service staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming food, supplies, and merchandise and verify deliveries against packing slips
• Assist with maintaining an accurate and organized inventory control system
• Stock inventory using an organized and logical system
• Ensure merchandise received matches what was ordered
• Organize and maintain refrigerators, freezers, dry storage areas, and loading dock areas
• Follow HACCP procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation requirements
• Help prevent shortages by supporting proper inventory levels and food production needs
• Assist culinary and food service staff as directed
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage and work areas
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures

• Ability to organize and manage multiple deliveries within a short period of time
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including kitchens, refrigerators, and freezers
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent physical tasks
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Applicable food service license or certification if required by state, local, or federal regulations
• Must be available for the full Monday–Friday schedule
• No previous experience required

Pay: $21/hour | Weekly Pay
