Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: $2,926 gross/week
Schedule: 48 Hours/Week | Rotating Shifts
Contract: 13 Weeks
Job Type: Travel Contract

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, New York.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric and behavioral health patients
  • Complete assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Utilize therapeutic communication and appropriate de-escalation techniques
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary behavioral health team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Job Requirements

  • Active New York RN license
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Psychiatric or behavioral health experience
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
