Job Description
TEACHER ASSISTANT – PART-TIME
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, well-established, private school who is seeking a Teacher Assistant.
This school is looking for an individual who can work throughout the school year. We are looking for a Teacher Assistant who enjoys working with young children and can provide a nurturing environment.
This is a 12-month program.
Salary - $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience
Days/Hours: M-F, 2:30pm-5pm.
Responsibilities for the Teacher Assistant:
- Assist with the program management and instruction
- Make necessary adjustments to meet each child’s needs
- Committed to providing the utmost support to students and families
Job Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or working towards it
- Minimum of 1 year previous experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Must be discreet while handling confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Must be patient in dealing with young children
- Ability to provide 2 professional work-related references
