Job Description
Staffing Coordinator – Long Term Care - Nursing Home
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join an amazing team at a Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and be comfortable managing scheduling, minor HR functions, and payroll-related tasks.
Location: Dobbs Ferry, NY
Salary: $26/hour with weekly pay
Responsibilities Include:
- Create and post nursing department schedules; track changes and approve shift trades
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, call-outs, late/early arrivals; coordinate with HR to ensure timely administration of policies
- Monitor daily PPD and staff overtime
- Schedule agency staff as needed to cover open shifts
- Provide staffing reports to the Director of Nursing
- Support payroll and minor HR-related functions
Job Requirements
- Previous staffing coordinator experience in a long-term care setting required
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with HR and payroll tasks in a healthcare environment
