SPEECH THERAPIST – SCHOOL
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, private, special education school who is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist for their high school program.
Salary - $75,000-$90,000 Depending on experience
Excellent benefits package – Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Program
Days/Hours: M-F, 8a.m. to 2:30p.m., with the exception of Tuesdays and Wednesdays when there are after school meetings at 3:30p.m. and 4:00p.m.
Responsibilities for the Speech Therapist:
- Evaluate students needs for speech therapy
- Provide therapy to students
- Compile daily session notes
- Execute progress reports and IEPs
- Work with families and school staff
Job Requirements
- Must have both SLP licensure through the Office of Professions and TSSH/TSSLD Certification through NYSED.
- Master’s Degree required
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Must have prior experience working in a special education setting
- Highly skilled in the IEP process
- Ability to form and maintain relationships with parents, teachers and faculty
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to provide 3 business references
