LMSW – CLMSW - LCSW-R – Mental Health Counselor – Social Worker
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry, is currently seeking experienced Social Worker and Mental Health Clinicians for a progressive not for profit organization whose mission is to deliver behavioral health care and human services. Programs include: Mental Health, Youth Services, Residential, Domestic Violence, Addiction, Care Management, Employee Assistance, etc.
Pay: $49,700-$80,400 annually depending on experience, education, and qualifications. Excellent Benefits Package.
Hybrid Schedule: 2 or 3 days in the office

Responsibilities for the Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor:
- Providing direct clinical treatment including individual, family, and group therapies, and crisis intervention
- Providing services using a combination of in-person, telephone, and video
- Conducting initial evaluations and identifying critical impairments
- Providing unscheduled and or emergent services as needed for walk-in, open-access, and crisis clients at any time during scheduled shift;
- Providing services for acute walk-in, open access, and/or crisis clients
- Developing clear treatment strategies based on specific needs of each consumer
- Documenting all aspects of the evaluation and treatment process to potentiate patient care
- Participating in care planning and coordinating meetings to facilitate care process.
- Participating in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
- Documenting all services in accordance with Federal/State regulations and policies and procedures
- Remote options for an LCSW and LCSW(R)
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work is required. LMHC, LMSW or LCSW license preferred
- Knowledge of substance abuse issues including features of alcohol and various drug abuse signs and symptoms, intervention strategies, awareness of associated medical concerns.
- Experience conducting individual, family and group therapy
- Broad clinical knowledge of psychiatric disorders, and psychiatric diagnosis.
- Ability to conduct clinical interviews and assess mental status.
- Must be tech savvy with PC applications. Experience with EMR strongly preferred.
- Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree and some and counseling as appropriate to the assigned program.
