United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry is representing a well-established, successful Senior Living Retirement community. They offer independent and assisted living, memory and skilled nursing care. They are seeking an experienced Social Worker with healthcare experience servicing the geriatric population.

Salary - $23.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience

Days/Hours: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays from 8:30am-5pm. Must be available some evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities for the Social Worker:

• Partner with other mental health providers and provide referrals
• Oversee admissions through discharge, such as room changes, transition planning and work with other staff
• Offer psychosocial support to residents and families
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and other required documentation
• Participate in support groups and provide bereavement support to residents, family and staff
• Exhibit courteous and professional customer service
• Administrative duties as required

• Master’s Degree in Social Work is required
• Must have a valid New Jersey Social Work License
• Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience working in long term care/assisted living
• Must have knowledge of federal and state regulations as it pertains to psychosocial assessments
• Prior experience in servicing the geriatric population and dementia preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Word and Outlook
