Job Description
SERVICE & SUPPORT SPECIALIST – BANKING - FINANCE
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry, is currently seeking an experienced Banker for a well-established bank in the New York City Area. The Service & Support Specialist will assist with bank processes, systems, and operational procedures.
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 depending on experience.
Excellent Benefits Package.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm, Friday 9am-6pm, flexibility required if needed to work on some weekends.
Responsibilities for the Service & Support Specialist:
- Record and resolve support requests
- Provide cross-functional support to other areas of the bank and department
- Work with staff and specialized departments
- Offer guidance on operational procedures, account maintenance, system navigation, and technology troubleshooting
- Participate in testing, upgrades and implementation of third-party systems
- Assure adherence to bank policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking, banking operations or call center
- Occasional travel to other locations as needed
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, core banking systems, and web-based platforms
- Experience with case management or ticketing systems preferred
- Knowledge of retail bank products, services, and related operating procedures
- Familiarity with banking regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to supply 3 employment references
