SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST – SPECIAL EDUCATION

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, private, special education school who is seeking an experienced School Psychologist.

This is a 12 month position.

Salary - $65,000-$70,000. Depending on experience.

Days/Hours: M-F, 7:55a.m. to 2:30p.m/2:45pm with the exception of Tuesdays and Wednesdays when there are after school meetings at 3:30p.m. and 4:00p.m.

Responsibilities of the School Psychologist:

• Document and write student reports
• Evaluate and support students
• Create progress reports, IEPs and BIPs
• Keep track of daily attendance records
• Work with families and school staff

• Must have a NYS School Psychologist Certificate
• Master’s Degree in School Psychology or higher
• Minimum of 2 years related experience
• Must have prior experience working in a special education setting
• Highly skilled in the IEP process
• Ability to form and maintain relationships with parents, teachers and faculty
• Ability to provide 3 references from former employers, teachers or professional sources
