United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry, is seeking Occupational Therapists for a school in Bronx, NY.

Pay: $75,000-$80,000/year DOE

Duties for the Occupational Therapist School:

• Evaluate students' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans to help students improve their functional abilities and achieve their goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions and techniques to improve students motor skills, coordination, balance, and strength
• Teach students how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their independence
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and speech therapists, to coordinate student care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Monitor students progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Document student evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
• Provide education and support to students and their families regarding the therapeutic process and home exercise programs

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and evidence-based practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs
• Experience in case management and working with speech therapy is preferred but not required
