Job Description
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the healthcare staffing industry, is seeking School Nurses in Nassau County, NY. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to assigned students.
Pay: $60/hr with weekly pay
Shift hours: Must be available between the hours of 7am-4pm
Responsibilities of the School Nurse:
- Care for ill, injured, or convalescing students
- Provide basic patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with School Nurse to administer prescribed medications
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months experience is preferred.
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Must have a valid NYS RN License
- Active NYS LPN License
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
