School Nurse – Float Pool
Location: New York, NY
Pay: $67/hr (All Boroughs) | $77/hr (Bronx Only)

United Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our School Nurse Float Pool. We are hiring both full-time and part-time RNs to provide essential medical care across various school locations in New York City.

Position Overview:
As a Float School Nurse, you will be on standby for morning calls and expected to work a minimum of three set weekdays (e.g., Monday–Wednesday) or full-time Monday through Friday. A guaranteed 7-hour paid workday is provided regardless of school placement.

****RN must commit to 2 boroughs minimally, comfortable to float to a school coverage in that borough & be willing to take same day "morning of" assignments****

Job Requirements

  • Active NYS RN License
  • Minimum of 2 years of paid RN experience
  • Proficient in managing:
  • G-tubes
  • Catheters
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Diabetes management
  • Asthma and allergy interventions
  • Flexibility to float to multiple school locations across boroughs
  • Availability for early-morning standby
  • Prompt attendance at orientation and timely submission of compliance documents within two weeks

Typical Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (subject to variation based on school)

Compensation:

  • $75/hr for all NYC boroughs
  • $85/hr for Bronx assignments
