United Staffing Solutions is representing a local Hardware and Painter Store in Brooklyn, NY who is looking for an experience Retail Sales Associate to join their team.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling a variety of products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Pay: $18-22/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-1pm

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
• Provide product information and demonstrate features and benefits
• Meet or exceed sales goals by actively promoting products and closing sales
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale systems
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets and improve customer satisfaction

• 2+ years of retail sales experience
• Prior experience working in a hardware, paint, or similar store highly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced envorinment when needed
• Prior experience working with POS systems
• Knowledge of hardware, painting, and building products with the ability and willingness to learn various products/services.
