Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Devils Lake, ND
Facility: Hospital
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Days and Nights
Pay: $3,118 gross/week (based on 36 hours)
Job Type: Travel Contract
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients throughout labor and delivery
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered
- Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries and emergency procedures
- Recognize and respond promptly to maternal or fetal complications
- Provide postpartum care, patient education, and emotional support
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia providers, neonatal staff, and other members of the care team
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Recent Labor and Delivery experience required
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications preferred or required by the facility
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Strong maternal-fetal assessment and emergency response skills
