Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Peoria, IL
Facility: Medical Center
Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shifts
Pay: $3,806 gross/week (based on 40 hours)
Job Type: Travel Contract
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. This position requires a skilled RN who can provide safe and efficient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for procedures
- Monitor patients during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and sedation as ordered
- Assist physicians and the interdisciplinary team throughout procedures
- Recognize and respond quickly to changes in cardiac rhythm or patient condition
- Provide post-procedure monitoring, recovery care, and patient education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow all safety, infection control, and procedural standards
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong cardiac assessment and monitoring skills
- Ability to work a 4x10 schedule
