Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Rockford, IL
Facility: Medical Center
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:30 PM | Alternating weekday off
Call Requirement: Rotating weekday and weekend call
Pay: $3,082 gross/week (based on 36 hours)
Job Type: Travel Contract
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The RN will provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assess patients before cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Administer medications and sedation as ordered
- Assist physicians and the procedural team during cardiac interventions
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient response to treatment
- Provide post-procedure recovery care and patient education
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call coverage
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
- Ability to participate in required call rotation
