Pay: $60-$65/hr DOE

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse, Nursing Home:

• Provide direct patient care, including medical treatments, assessments, and interventions
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
• Perform physical examinations and collect patient health histories
• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as venipuncture and spinal taps
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health records systems
• Experience administering injections and performing venipuncture
• Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) protocols and ability to respond to emergencies
• Ability to lift and move patients safely using proper body mechanics
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
