Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Shifts: Days 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM | Nights 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM (Every other weekend)
Pay: $2,412 per week
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality medical-surgical care. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires attention to detail, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical care when needed.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies.
Job Requirements
- Current and valid RN license in New York State.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including night shifts and every other weekend.
