Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry

Pay: $3,146 Gross/Week (based on 48 hrs/week)

United Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurses for a full-time contract opportunity in West Islip, New York. This position is ideal for nurses who are confident managing medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Perform patient assessments and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products as ordered
• Interpret telemetry strips and promptly report changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Accurately document care in the electronic health record
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards

• Active, unrestricted RN license (New York or compact, as applicable)
• NCLEX-RN passed
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Current AHA BLS (ACLS preferred)
• Ability to work 4 x 12-hour shifts (48 hrs/week)
• Must pass background check and credentialing
