Job Description
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the healthcare staffing industry, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses in The Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be adept at providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including clinics, urgent care, and senior care facilities. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Pay: $55/hr with weekly pay
Duties of the Registered Nurse:
- Assess and evaluate patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while monitoring patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, especially in critical care transport and urgent care settings.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Uphold standards of care in accordance with established protocols, particularly in areas such as dementia care and workers compensation law.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing, including sonography techniques.
Job Requirements
- A valid New York Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- Previous experience in clinic settings, urgent care, or critical care transport is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems such as eClinicalWorks is advantageous.
- Experience working with senior populations or in dementia care environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of workers compensation law as it pertains to nursing practice is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
