Job Description

Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: All shifts available, 3×12-hour shifts
Weekly Pay: $2,420
Type: Contract Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for an inpatient and psychiatric emergency setting in Brooklyn, NY. Candidates must be comfortable working across all shifts and in high-acuity behavioral health environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to behavioral health and psychiatric patients
  • Assess patient mental status and manage crisis situations
  • Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Job Requirements

  • Active NY RN license
  • Minimum 2 years Behavioral Health experience
  • Inpatient Psych and Psych ER experience required
  • BLS required (ACLS preferred)
  • Ability to work 3×12-hour shifts on any shift
