United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the healthcare staffing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Telemetry for a hospital in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to their needs.

Pay: $65/hr with weekly pay

Duties of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, identifying any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform gastric lavage and assist with specimen collection processing.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
• Collaborate with case management teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and discharge planning.
• Assist with durable medical equipment (DME) needs for patients transitioning from inpatient care.
• Work closely with internal medicine specialists to coordinate care plans for patients with complex medical needs.
• Participate in hospital medicine rounds, providing updates on patient status to the healthcare team.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in telemetry nursing or related inpatient settings preferred.
• Knowledge of primary care principles and hospital medicine practices.
• Strong skills in medical documentation and case management processes.
• Ability to perform tasks such as specimen collection processing efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Familiarity with cardiac telemetry monitoring equipment is a plus.
