RN - LTC - Long Term Care
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses for a Nursing Home in Brooklyn, NY. Pay: $70/hr

Shifts available:

Days - 7 am-3 pm

Evening Shift - 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Possible 37.5 hours per week

6-month contract

Duties needed for the Registered Nurse, Long Term Care
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess changes in health status
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform specimen collection processing and ensure accurate documentation
- Assist with medical procedures such as cardiac catheterization or Botox injections
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques

- Valid RN license in the state of New York
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or related healthcare setting
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Experience with ophthalmology or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is a plus
