Recruiter – Behavioral Health & Local Nursing
Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY
Compensation: $45,000 – $48,000 base salary (depending on experience) plus uncapped commission
United Staffing Solutions is seeking a motivated in-person Recruiter to join our Midtown Manhattan office, specializing in Behavioral Health and Local Nursing recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start their career in recruiting—no prior experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for behavioral health and nursing positions
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Coordinate interviews and hiring processes between candidates and clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system
- Meet and exceed recruitment and placement goals
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Driven and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Interest in healthcare staffing and recruiting industry
