Pay: $55/hr with weekly pay

Duties of the RN Med/Surg

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Implement acute pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, discharge planning, and post-operative care.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Assist in critical care transport when necessary, ensuring the highest level of care during transfers.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and sonography as required by the unit.
• Stay informed about workers' compensation law as it relates to patient care.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Previous experience in a Medical/Surgical setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in behavioral health assessment and intervention.
• Familiarity with mammography procedures is a plus.
• Ability to lift patients safely using appropriate techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
