Job Description
PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a very well-established non-profit organization who prides themselves in supporting children, adults and families in need.
Salary - $135,000 - $145,000 DOE
Days/Hours – M-F, 9am-5pm. Late nights and weekends required as needed.

Responsibilities for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- Provide direct clinical crisis intervention treatment
- Complete medical forms and reports for patients
- Work closely with other healthcare providers
- Assist treatment team in creating care planning for outpatient mental health clients
- Participate in trainings, coaching, and staff meetings
- Provide families with community-based resources
- Inform patients of health education and illness prevention
- Provide on-call coverage after hours as needed
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree required
- Must have a valid NYS RN and PNP License
- Minimum 1-2 years’ of experience dealing with a pediatric population in a preventive school or health services environment
- Highly skilled in individual, behavioral therapy and substance abuse treatment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
