Job Description

PROJECT ENGINEER

United Staffing Solutions a leader in the staffing industry is working with a large, prestigious medical facility who is seeking a Project Engineer. This individual will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all renovation projects and building management systems. This highly responsible position will report directly to the AVP of Engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience with renovation projects including plumbing, electrical, mechanical and building management systems, to name a few.

Hours: Monday - Friday – 9am – 5pm

Salary - $135,000 -$150,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities for the Project Engineer:

· Coordinate on-site activities

· Prepare requisitions, purchase orders and invoices for payment

· Manage preparation of bid documents and the process

· Create and oversee budgets and schedules for projects

· Develop a record keeping system of hard and electronic files

· Evaluate infrastructure/MEP drawings, specifications and engineering documents

· Direct all aspects of scoping, budgeting and programming

· Help with financial planning and management of capital budget projects

· Manage and lead team members

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field required

· Must have a Professional Engineer License

· Minimum of 5 years of prior experience working in engineered building systems including HVAC, boiler, chiller, BMS and other infrastructure

· LEED accreditation is strongly preferred in addition to professional training in scheduling (Primavera or Microsoft Project)

· Certified Project Manager (CPM) required

· Must be able to provide 3 employment references
