PRESCHOOL TEACHER - EDUCATION

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, well-established preschool who prides themselves on nurturing children. They are seeking a 3K & 4K Teacher for their Pre-K For All program. The Teacher will be responsible for providing a caring and supportive environment.

Salary - $60,000-$65,000 depending on experience

• This is a 12-month program

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Education, 1-2 years of teaching in an early childhood setting, NYS Certification in Birth - 2 years.

Dealbreakers: studying for their Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, willing to obtain their NYS certification in Birth - 2 years.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Responsibilities for the Preschool Teacher:

• Form and maintain relationships with staff and families
• Provide a clean, friendly and welcoming environment
• Make use of basic knowledge of child development in relation to cognitive, motor, social and self-help skills and development
• Participate in staff/parent events and complete training classes

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education and a valid NYS Certification in Birth-2 years or Study Plan Eligible Teacher (90 credits or more towards a degree in Education)
• Equivalent Certification from an agency granted reciprocity by New York State Department of Education or willing to work towards obtaining the certification
• 1-2 years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated team player who enjoys working with children
