United Staffing Solutions is representing an established housing company is looking for an experienced Porter to maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of its premises. There are multiple locations around the NYC area including Manhattan and Bronx. This is for long term/ongoing temporary and temporary to permanent assignments.

Pay: $17-20/hr DOE

Various schedules from full time and part time shifts

Responsibilities of Porter:

• Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of entire facility including hallways, stairwells, offices, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.
• Safe use of manual and powered cleaning equipment and use of chemicals.
• Also responsible for cleaning of floors, elevators, moldings/trim, and windows.
• Remove and dispose of garbage throughout premises on a daily basis.
• Responsible for upkeep of outside including cleanliness of sidewalks, grounds work, and snow removal as needed.
• Perform minor repairs including painting, replace light bulbs, and minor floor/wall repairs.
• Complete record keeping of jobs completed and supply/material inventories.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• At least 1-2 years Porter experience
• Experience working in housing environment preferred
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work full time schedule
