United Staffing Solutions is representing an established assisted living housing company who is looking for an experienced Porter/Maintenance person to maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of its premises. This is for a location in Staten Island, NY.

Pay: $17/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Responsibilities of Porter:

• Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of entire facility including hallways, stairwells, offices, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.
• Safe use of manual and powered cleaning equipment and use of chemicals.
• Also responsible for cleaning of floors, elevators, moldings/trim, and windows.
• Remove and dispose of garbage throughout premises on a daily basis.
• Responsible for upkeep of outside including cleanliness of sidewalks, grounds work, and snow removal as needed.
• Perform minor repairs including painting, replace light bulbs, and minor floor/wall repairs.
• Complete record keeping of jobs completed and supply/material inventories.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• At least 1-2 years Porter experience
• Experience working in housing environment preferred
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work full time schedule
