We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a team in Crescent City, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life. You will work in various settings, including clinics, inpatient facilities, and home health environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, along with experience in acute care and patient care.

pay: $52/hr

part time, 8 am-4:30

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
• Implement treatment programs that may include exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, exercises, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care in various settings including inpatient facilities and home community care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards.

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in acute care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and patient care protocols is essential.
• Previous experience in home health or clinic environments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
