United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the healthcare staffing industry, is seeking Patient Care Techs for a hospital in The Bronx, Ny.

Pay: $22/hr

Responsibilities of the Patient Care Tech
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as venipuncture and suture removal.
- Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

- Must have at least 6 months of experience
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Must have PCT, EKG and Phlebotomy certification
- Experience in primary care, hospice care, or dementia care is preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Cerner.
- Ability to perform venipuncture and other basic medical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
