PARAPROFESSIONAL – TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT - SPECIAL EDUCATION

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry is representing a well-established, private, special education school from grades Kindergarten-12th grade. They pride themselves on helping their students achieve success by supporting each child’s learning style.

The Paraprofessional will be assisting a middle school student.

This is a Temporary position with the possibility to converting to permanent based on performance.

Salary: $16-$17 per hour depending on experience

Days/Hours: M-F, 8:00a.m. - 2:30p.m. 30-hour work week.

Responsibilities for the Paraprofessional:

• Implement daily instruction, activities, and behavior strategies
• Support student in their school activities
• Provide 1:1 support to school-age children with health/emotional special needs for the classroom setting
• Work closely with school staff and families
• Ensure student safety during school hours

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience working with special needs children in a special education setting
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities and other related disorders preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
