Overnight Reach Truck Operator

Job Description

United Staffing Solutions is looking for an experienced Reach Truck operators for a Meat Distribution Company in Hunts Point, Bronx NY.

The Reach Truck Operator would be responsible for moving, loading and organizing pallets in the warehouse as needed.

This is a full-time, temporary to permanent position.

Overnight shift, Overtime included.

Schedule: Shifts start between 6pm-8pm until work is completed depending on day.

Pay: $20/hr

Responsibilities for the Reach Truck Operator:

  • Build, secure, and move pallets of product around warehouse to designated areas
  • Assist warehouse personnel in moving product down from shelves to complete order picking as needed
  • Safely operate Reach Truck on warehouse premises in shipping/receiving area as well as aisles
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensure all aisles are clean and clear of pallets and other debris
  • Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience operating Stand Up Electric Reach Trucks and/or forklifts
  • Reach Truck or Forklift certification preferred
  • Steel toe boots required
  • NY Drivers License Preferred
