Production Associate
Job Description
United Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable and motivated Production Associates to join our client’s fast-paced manufacturing team. This is for a large ice distribution company out of Rutland, VT. This position is responsible for operating production line equipment, manual stacking of finished products, and performing minor troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly.
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 1st shift, 6:30am-3:30pm with OT as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing, bagging, and palletizing equipment
- Stack finished products onto pallets by hand
- Coordinate the flow of materials from the production line to the skids
- Inspect product for quality and ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Record logs of packaged goods and packaging waste
- Verify lot codes and Julian dates for accuracy and legibility
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with Food Safety Handling Procedures is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
