Mailroom Clerk – Midtown Manhattan
United Staffing Solutions is representing a leading media organization with a dynamic portfolio of news, entertainment, and digital platforms in Midtown Manhattan in their search for a Mailroom Clerk for an immediate opening. This role is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan near Times Square, Bryant Park, and Port Authority.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- $18/hour
- 3-month temporary assignment with potential for extension (not guaranteed)
Job Responsibilities for the Mailroom Clerk:
- Delivering internal mail to approximately 40 location stops within the building (2 rounds per day across 2 floors)
- Receiving and delivering FedEx, UPS, and other courier packages
- Answering incoming calls and directing inquiries appropriately
- Composing and responding to emails in a professional manner
- Supporting the Vice President and designated staff as needed
- Wearing a company-issued polo shirt while on duty
Job Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a corporate mailroom environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Friendly, professional demeanor and team-player attitude
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to interact with all levels of staff
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Comfortable handling busy periods as well as downtime
