Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and motivated Non-CDL Drivers to join the team. In this role, you will operate mobile medical units, travel to various locations across the city, and assist in transporting patients in need to various designated warming centers at hospitals or medical centers throughout the city.
Pay: $21/hr
Schedule: Various, must be flexible and able to work overnight shifts.
Shifts are either 8pm-6am or 9pm-7am
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive mobile medical unites or passanger vans to multiple locations across NYC.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of medical units at each site.
- Help staff provide medical care and outreach to unsheltered individuals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment.
- Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly.
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
- Comfortable working outdoors and interacting with diverse populations.
