Maintenance Supervisor (Hands-On)

$30/hour | Day Shift

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations and support plant performance. This role partners closely with the Plant Manager and is responsible for driving equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, and promoting a strong safety culture.

This is a working supervisor position requiring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support all plant maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Reduce downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee parts inventory, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgeting
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and EHS programs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Provide off-hour support as needed

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a millwright or industrial mechanic
• 3–5 years of ammonia maintenance experience
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of PLC systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• Engineering degree
• Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance systems
• Background in refrigeration, electrical circuitry, and machine mechanics
• Continuous Improvement training
• GMP and HACCP knowledge
