Operations Manager – Service & Safety Industry – Commercial Kitchen & Fire Safety
United Staffing Solutions* is representing a well-established service company in Brooklyn, specializing in commercial kitchen hood cleaning and safety compliance. We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager* to oversee daily operations, lead multiple teams, and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction across all service departments. No travel required!
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm
Location: Brooklyn, NY (East New York neighborhood, close to. LIRR and A/C, and L trains)
Parking: Street parking available
Salary: $95,000 – $140,000 depending on experience
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, most federal holidays off, and all Jewish holidays off
The Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role, coordinating daily operations and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. This includes supervising technicians, managing scheduling and logistics, enforcing compliance standards, and optimizing performance across departments.
Key Responsibilities for the Operations Manager:
- Overseeing all operational departments to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with safety standards
- Managing scheduling and logistics to optimize technician routes and on-time completion
- Hiring, training, and mentoring field and office personnel to improve performance and service quality
- Monitoring KPIs and implementing process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction
- Acting as the main communication point between leadership, staff, and clients
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including NFPA 96 and safety best practices
- Handling escalated customer issues with professionalism and urgency
- Maintaining equipment and inventory readiness across teams
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role within service, facilities, or field-based industries
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of staff and clients
- Familiarity with operational safety standards (e.g., NFPA 96)
- Proficiency in scheduling and CRM systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment
