Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room
United Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for Operating Room assignments in the Bronx. This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment.
Location: Bronx, NY
Shifts Available:
- 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Start Date: April 14, 2025
Pay Rate: $90 per hour with weekly pay
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 patient care before, during, and after surgery for cases including, but not limited to, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Vascular, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology, Endoscopy, and GYN.
- Deliver direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anesthetic drugs, their actions, and side effects.
- Monitor and document arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, spinal and epidural catheters appropriately.
- Assist the surgical team in maintaining a sterile environment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Job Requirements
- Valid New York RN license.
- Minimum of two years of recent Operating Room experience.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to start on April 14.
