Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan, NY
Pay: $77/hour
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time available

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a healthcare setting on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Immediate availability is preferred, but flexible scheduling is available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop treatment plans
• Provide hands-on occupational therapy services
• Assist patients with improving daily living and motor skills
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Must have a valid New York State License as an Occupational Therapist.
• 2 years of clinical experience in Pediatric Occupational Therapy working with children with brain-based disorders and neurological involvement preferred.
• License: NYS Occupational Therapist (Required or eligible to be licensed in NYS)
• Must possess exceptional interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills, along with the ability to take initiative, and a highly flexible personality type
• Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds independently.
• Must be detail-oriented, focused, highly motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
• Research experience and NDT training is preferred.
• Experience: Pediatric OT: 2 years (Preferred)
