Job Description
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, prestigious Manhattan private school who is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for children from 8-10 years old.
Salary - $75,000-$80,000, depending on experience
Excellent benefits package – Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
Hours – Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. This position also offers a Part-Time schedule.
Responsibilities for the Occupational Therapist:
- Evaluate students needs for occupational therapy
- Provide therapy to students
- Compile daily session notes
- Execute progress reports and IEPs
- Work with families and school staff
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid and current license and/or certification to practice in New York State
- Ability to provide your National Provider Identification (NPI) number
- Must have prior experience working with children with special needs
- Highly skilled in the IEP process
- Ability to work with parents, teachers and faculty
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to provide 2 employment references
