NURSE EDUCATOR - RN

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a very well-established non-profit organization who offers healthcare services to the elderly, disabled and chronically ill.

Salary - $114,000-$128,000 depending on experience

Days/Hours – M-F, 8:30am-5:30pm, 40 hour work week.

Responsibilities for the Nurse Educator:

  • Help recruit nursing staff by interviewing and recommending applicants for employment
  • Keep track and assess new nursing new staff after the orientation period
  • Direct field visits with Nurses to evaluate competencies and offer clinical support
  • Oversee education activities
  • Guide orientation program for new staff

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Must have a valid NYS RN License
  • Minimum 5 years’ of experience conducting training classes or as an Education Coordinator in a healthcare facility
  • Minimum 1 year of experience servicing ailing or elderly population
  • Excellent written and computer skills
