United Staffing Solutions is representing a distribution company in Long Island City, Queens NY that is looking for Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers to join their team. As a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of our products to our valued customers.

Non-CDL Drivers will also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and doing indoor deliveries. This is a temporary position for about 1 week with the chance of being extended.

Pay: $18-19/hr DOE

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7 am start time

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a non-CDL Box Truck to transport goods to customer locations.
• Plan delivery routes and schedule deliveries to ensure timely completion.
• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure they match customer requests.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products in a courteous and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address any concerns or inquiries.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 1-2 years experience in a delivery driver or similar role is preferred.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and paperwork.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs and use hand trucks as needed.
