Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Non CDL Delivery Driver for our client, a cleaning supply company, in Yonkers, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

This role would require knoweldge and familiarity of the NYC area.

This is a temporary position for about 2-3 weeks, could be extended longer based on need.

Pay: $19-$20/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am start time.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Perform route driving efficiently while adhering to schedules and delivery timelines.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques as necessary.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Assist with warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.

• Previous experience as a NON CDL Driver
• Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is an advantage.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
